Buster's Story

Buster is a big fella, weighing in at over 100 pounds but he's as sweet as can be. He's house trained, walks wonderfully on a leash and knows some commands (in English and in Spanish!) Buster is currently in a foster home doing wonderfully with kids and enjoys time playing, supervised of course, with other dogs as well.

Buster was living at an Auto Body shop on Summer Ave. The owners of the shop lost their lease and moved out abandoning poor Buster. It took us most of the day to catch him and get a leash on him. Even then, he didn't want to get into our van. He didn't want to abandon his post. We had to pick this big boy up, and place him in the van. He wasn't comfortable being picked up but he never growled and never snapped at me. This boy is a playful, happy ball of energy. He would love an owner he could go running or biking with. Yes, he could keep up with you on a bike. Do you have a home for this loyal boy?
